As Mr. Bem-es Rees Davies, the Att. Gen. of

Hong Kong, is at present in this country,

deration of the proposals put forward in your

letter to the 3. of T. of the 28th of Aug.

is proceeded with, a conference could be held to

consider the representations which he has to

make against any radical alteration of the

present system of registration, especially in

view of the difficulties which will be caused

in the case of existing Companies. I am there-

fore to propose that Mr. Rees Davies and the

Legal Adviser of this Dept. should calli
